Braga Post: Neither a Good Wind nor a Good Marriage

€3,00
Taxes included. Shipping calculated at checkout.
Description

In this illustration, the author, Catarina Peixoto, brings to life the well-known Portuguese expression “De Braga, nem bom vento nem bom casamento” (From Braga, neither a good wind nor a good marriage). A proverb that almost everyone from Guimarães has heard, which humorously represents the historical rivalry between Guimarães and Braga. In Braga, as one would expect, they say the exact same thing, but about Guimarães.

If you are looking for a postcard with Guimarães expressions or a fun illustration of Guimarães, you will find here an original piece full of humor and local identity.

The illustration is part of the Guimarães pack, which was distinguished at the National Young Creators Exhibition.
